Where is My Gift Going?

2007 ASTS Programs and initiatives (Visit the ASTS website at www.asts.org for other ASTS programs and initiatives.

The American Society of Transplant Surgeons (ASTS) is THE organization that represents the issues that are important to transplant surgeons. The year 2007 proved to be one of our busiest years ever. The Society launched over a dozen new initiatives and programs, hosted five symposia, advocated with the Residency Review Committee for Surgery (RRC) to maintain transplant rotations, rallied twice on Capitol Hill, and sent over 25 letters to a variety of federal agencies to advocate on your behalf.

ASTS is preparing to launch business practice workshops and consultative services, a pilot Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program in collaboration with the American Board of Surgery (ABS), an online fellowship curriculum, new collaborations with transplant psychologists, psychiatrists, and physician assistants, and a new critical care initiative. Now more than ever your contribution to the ASTS Foundation is imperative to ensure that these programs are sustained and new programs can be initiated.

ASTS needs your help to implement these programs and continue to create new opportunities. Donations of any amount to the ASTS Foundation are appreciated.  No contribution is too small (or too large); donate $25, $100, $1,000, or more. With your 100% tax-deductible contribution, every dollar you donate helps further our mission.
