Current and Future Committee Activities

1)  ASTS Leadership Development Program, September 9-12, 2012 in conjunction with the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.  Registration opens May 9, 2012. 

2)  2010 Transplant surgeon staff and leadership compensation survey - report released summer 2010.  The next compensation survey will be fielded in the fall of 2012 with results being released in early 2013. 

3)  Business Practice Seminar entitled The ABCs of Transplant Center Regulatory Review:  CMS, MPS,, SIAs. The seminar took place during the ASTS 12th annual Winter Symposium, Miami Beach, FL.

4)  ASTS Transplant Center Policy Library subscription service launches May 2012.

5)  Best practices consulting services for post CMS audit programs.

6)  Mock Medicare Survey Program: Provides a service to ASTS members including a review of policies and procedures and compliance in advance of Medicare audits
