1) Islets in the Sun: Progress in Cell Trasplantation seminar will take place during the ASTS 10th Annual State of the Art Winter Symposium, Harbor Beach Marriott, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, January 15-17, 2010

2) Developed Islet Cell White paper

3) Provision of expert opinions to the ASTS Council as requested on any aspect or question including emerging challenges, opportunities, and regulatory concerns

4) Promotion of collaborative research, training and educational opportunities for ASTS members and for the cell transplant community at large, including inter-institutional collaborations, specialized personnel training and sharing of specialized equipment and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
