Thank you to all the attendees of this year’s ASTS Winter Symposium – we had record breaking attendance! By now all attendees should have received an email from ASTS that included a link to complete the meeting evaluation and claim CME credits and/or obtain a certificate of attendance.

If you’re attending the American Transplant Congress in Boston in June, ASTS invites you to several Society-specific events. On Sunday, June 3, the ASTS Pioneer Award will be presented. On Monday, ASTS will honor recipients of this year’s grant awards, followed by President Mitchell L. Henry, MD, delivering his Presidential Address. At the annual business meeting on Tuesday, members will vote on bylaws changes and learn the results of ASTS’ first online elections.

2012 Officer and Councilor-at-Large Ballot

The ASTS Nominations Committee is pleased to put forward the ballot for 2012 officer and councilor-at-large positions. Eligible voting members received an email with a link to the ballot and are asked to vote for one candidate for president-elect, one candidate for treasurer, and three candidates for councilor-at-large. Voting closes Sunday, May 20, 2012, at 11:59 p.m. EDT. Election results will be announced at the 2012 Annual Business Meeting on Tuesday, June 5, in Boston, MA.
