Career Recognition Certification Pathway

Eligibility: 

For individuals who have served as a practicing Abdominal Transplant Surgeon in the US or Canada for the bulk of their career and completed their fellowship by December 31, 1997

If you completed fellowship between January 1, 1998 to December 31, 2018, please refer to the Career Certification Pathway.

Application: 

The Career Recognition Certification 2024 application is now open. There is a nonrefundable application fee of $250. Applicants will need to submit a personal narrative of their career in transplantation and a completed career validation form from a peer. Click here to access the career validation form. 

Certification: 

Candidates who successfully complete all requirements of the Career Recognition Certification Pathway will receive the designation of Certified Abdominal Transplant Surgeon and will be a diplomate of the Transplant Accreditation & Certification Council.

The TACC reserves the right to make changes to the rules and procedures for its certification at any time and without prior notice.
