Business Practice Committee

Mission Statement

The mission of the Business Practice Committee is to assist ASTS members in understanding the business aspect of transplantation and to help them keep up with national trends in transplant practice management.  As a new initiative, attention will be centered on the following areas:

1) Creating a national report on transplant surgeon compensation
2) Conduct a survey of transplant center business models in the United States
3) Develop and implement transplant business education process for ASTS members
4) Develop a system for consultative services to ASTS members and transplant programs to guide them through various aspects of the business of transplantation
