Advisory Committee on Issues

Mission Statement

The Advisory Committee on Issues is composed of individuals with experience in the scientific and socio-economic problems related to transplantation and/or experience in the governing and administration of the Society.  The committee shall consist of the nine most recent immediate past presidents and three members appointed annually by the President.  The purpose of the committee is to study issues which affect transplantation and to serve as an information resource to administrative bodies dealing with scientific and legislative issues affecting transplantation.
