Standards on Organ Transplantation Committee

Mission Statement

The ASTS Standards on Organ Transplantation Committee sees its charge as to:

1. Promote the development of high standards in organ procurement, transplantation and patient care
2. Coordinate and lead ASTS legislative and regulatory advocacy for legislation, standards, and/or regulations that pertain to organ donation awareness, procurement, and organ allocation/distribution policies
3. Educate the membership about regulations, standards, and policies that exist or are being developed for organ procurement, transplantation, and transplant patient care
