Current and Future Committee Activities

1)  ASTS Leadership Development Program, September 11-13, 2011 in conjunction with the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. 

2)  2010 Transplant surgeon staff and leadership compensation survey - report released summer 2010

3)  Business Practice Seminar focusing on Achieving and Rewarding Excellence in the Transplant Team and Deciphering Health Care Reform: Legislation to Implementation. The seminar took place during the ASTS 11th annual Winter Symposium, Hollywood, FL, January 13-16, 2011.

4)  Developing an online policy and procedures library which will be available as a subscription service

5)  Best practices consulting services for post CMS audit programs.

6)  Mock Medicare Survey Program: Provides a service to ASTS members including a review of policies and procedures and compliance in advance of Medicare audits
