The Robotic Hepatobiliary course covers all aspects of robotic liver and bile duct surgery, including operative preparations, instrumentation and detailed robotic surgical technique for liver and bile duct resection. Day Two includes a hands-on robotic cadaveric dissection laboratory, performing robotic liver resection and bile duct reconstruction.

Course Objectives: 

• Examine the application and learning requirements of robotic liver and bile duct surgery.
• Discuss the technique of robotic liver resection for benign and malignant liver tumors.
• Discuss the techniques of robotic bile duct surgery for benign and malignant biliary diseases.
• Identify the potential complications of robotic liver and bile duct surgery and how to manage them.
• Discuss the steps of building a robotic hepatobiliary program in the community.
