August 2025
It is an honor to begin my tenure as President of the ASTS, and I wish to start my term by congratulating Ginny Bumgardner, MD, PhD for her exceptionally productive year as President.
We currently work in a period of our Society’s history in which change and uncertainty surrounding OPTN Modernization dominate the landscape. This change has caused concern and brought challenges to our members and the general public.
