Mission Statement – Establish a diverse representation of transplant patients and families whose experiences, expertise and voice will inform and improve transplant processes, policies and transparency in a patient-centric fashion.
Vision – The ASTS Patient Voice Initiative (PVI), a voluntary patient advocacy program, was launched in late 2024, via direct patient contact at a small number of US transplant centers. Thus far, more than 300 patients have stepped forward to participate in this inaugural ASTS endeavor.
