Accreditation provides validation that a training program meets prescribed high standards and is a seal of approval formally recognized the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS), Organ Procurement and Transplantation Network (OPTN) and others.

Fellowship Training Programs

The Transplant Accreditation & Certification Council accredits transplant surgery fellowship training programs throughout North America. Programs can be accredited in kidney, liver, pancreas, intestine, hepatobiliary, and hepatopancreatobiliary surgery.
