Certificate in Advanced Transplant Ethics

Registration now open!

Can any financial or non-financial incentives for organ donation be ethical?

How is legislation governing tissue donation and allocation evolving?

What are the novel ethical issues raised by face transplants and xenotransplantation?

How should socioeconomic factors influence transplant recipient eligibility?

Join us for an intensive course exploring these questions and many other critical and emerging ethical issues in transplantation medicine, policy, and cutting-edge research. Our advanced course curriculum is tailored to professionals in the field including practicing clinicians or advanced trainees, investigators, policymakers, healthcare administrators, and members of organ procurement organizations.

Course material will be delivered remotely through Zoom in four 2-hour instructional sessions, each followed by an optional 30 minutes of additional discussion. Spring 2024 sessions will be held Wednesday evenings, 5:00-7:30pm ET, on March 20, March 27, April 3, and April 10. Registered participants will receive a certificate of course completion, as well as access to an alumni research network and the opportunity to present at the program’s research day.
