I am excited to share several of the Wellness Committee's ongoing initiatives to support the well-being and professional growth of our community. In 2025, we relaunched a Fireside Chat series where we covered topics such as moral injury, healing the healers, and the evolution of mentorship. These events created a welcoming space for members to connect, share experiences, and discuss topics that impact our daily lives and work.

In collaboration with the Fellows Training Committee (FTC) and Transplant Accreditation & Certification Council (TACC), we also organized a Fellows Networking Event at the 2026 Winter Symposium. This event helped fellows build meaningful connections with faculty members and other fellows.

Additionally, the committee continues to oversee the Peer Support Program, which offers mental-health first aid and confidential support to transplant professionals navigating the unique stresses of our field.

Together, these efforts reflect our commitment to fostering a healthier, more connected, and better-supported transplant community.
