Join us for the 2022 Surgical Skills Workshops! Learners will be able to choose to attend just one hands-on workshop, or attend all 3. All workshops will be held at the Methodist Institute for Technology, Innovation, and Education (MITIE) in Houston, Texas from November 2–4, 2022.
The Laparoscopic Donor Nephrectomy Workshop will include surgical video viewings and group discussion, a hands-on cadaver lab, and interactive didactic sessions covering topics such as complications, techniques, donor safety, and patient care.
The Comprehensive Donation after Circulatory Death Workshop aimed at teaching attendees about all aspects of donation after circulatory death, from both a surgical and OPO perspective. The course will include surgical videos and discussion, didactic lectures from top surgeons in the field, and a hands-on cadaver lab.
The Pancreas Transplantation course will include surgical videos and discussion, didactic lectures from top surgeons in the field, and a hands-on cadaver lab.
Registration is priced per workshop. The costs below are to attend each workshop. Attendees will have the option to select one, two, or all 3 workshops during the registration process. If you are a current ASTS Fellow, you are eligible to receive $300 off your registration if you attend all 3 workshops, bringing the price from $2,850 to $2,550.
