Due to the recent surge in COVID cases caused by the Omicron variant, the ASTS Council has made the decision to postpone the 2022 ASTS Winter Symposium originally scheduled for January 13-16, 2022.
The Transplant Accreditation & Certification Council (TACC) Abdominal Transplant Surgeon Certification application for the Career Recognition Pathway is open and applications are due by February 1, 2022.
Since the COVID-19 vaccine became available, ASTS, UNOS, AOPO, & AST have encouraged surgeons, physicians and staff receive the vaccine in order to minimize the risk to themselves and prevent respiratory disease and infection among the community and in particular, our patients.
